King David of Bible

Many times we would have read, David is a man after God' own heart. As we all know that  David had written the Psalms. He walked with God and though he failed sometimes, he repented and turned unto God. In 2nd Samuel we can see David took Bathsheba who is Uriah's wife and he slept with her. God's anger kindled against David and the Lord smote the first born of Bathsheba.  Though David tried to cover his sin by Saying Uriah to go back to his home.

2 Samuel 11:8   And David said to Uriah, Go down to thy house, and wash thy feet. And Uriah departed out of the king's house, and there followed him a mess of meat from the king. 

2 Samuel 11:13   And when David had called him, he did eat and drink before him; and he made him drunk: and at even he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but went not down to his house.

In these two verses we can clearly see that David tried to cover his sin.  But it was not hidden, Uriah didnt go back to home, he was faithful saying

2 Samuel 11:11   And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing.

Then David cannot hide his anymore, so he sent Uriah to the war and given order to place him in the first row that he might die. 

But when the Lord's word came to Nathan, David acknowledged his sin and written Psalms 51. 

Again the satan stirred David's heart saying number the Israelites. 
1 Chronicles 21:1 And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.

But in all his life, David said it is better to fall into the hands of the Lord than to fall into the hands of the men.

God shall be primary and centre in our lives rather than any other thing. 

Time

For a long time, I used to think "I will not do this thing or that thing till I achieve my goals".  But later I read in some career books and autobiographies that it is very important to do the things at right time than our own will. 

Under the Sun and on earth, a time is set for every thing and every work.  It is clearly written Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS...

I made some new year resolutions this year. Generally, in all these years I dont have the habit of making resolutions and working towards them.  But this time, it was good that whatever the resolutions I made I am working towards them.

Some other plans were added to these resolutions this month and I am working seriously towards them.

When am in my room, I am thinking to write this, that and many other topics.When I come before the PC, my mind is blank, struggling what to write and how to write.....

Now on , I will get prepared and come to write something really good & exciting...

SOMETIMES...

I clearly remember the days of my chess career.  In Dec'2005 I attended a State Level Tournament in Tirupathi for 3 days.  That time I was not a born again, I dont know much about Bible.  The tournament starts on 24th and ends on 26th evening.  A National Television Channel came to take interviews from the players. Myself, Naveen from Tirupathi, Akhil and some other players had given interviews to the TV Channel. I clearly know when my interview will be telecasted and I was not in a position to watch my interview. 2months before this tournament my Dad removed the Dish Connection, so I know my interview will be telecasted and I am not in a position to watch my own interview.
